To be honest, Gametrailers did bring it up. I believe they used the Bugatti Veyron to exemplify.
The only reason why this guy thinks mobile is the future is because if he and his team produce another flop, at least it won't stand out so much in that sea of casual shovelware.
He's basically admitting he's not up to the high standards of console/PC gaming
Awesome soundtrack! The movie is not bad either.
Can I call it a complete waste of time, money and resources?
How can this even be remotely justified? Is this guy really delusional enough to think that shooting at expensive electronics makes him look cool? Does he think it makes him look "badass"? Americans and their obsession with firearms...
Indeed! After nearly a decade of pixel counting and arguing about minor differences in textures or frame rate, suddenly graphics are irrelevant. Just like sales numbers became irrelevant once the PS3 surpassed the 360. What a coincidence!
The hypocrisy in the gaming media can't possibly be underestimated. I bet we can even predict how much advertising each of these websites will get from any specific manufacturer/publisher just by looking at the content of their "ar...
Well, I've noticed that if you press the R2 button before being prompted to do so, it doesn't register. Make sure you only press the button when it shows on the screen and hold it until it disappears. If that doesn't work, I suggest removing the game from your system and re-downloading from the PSN store (your save file remains intact). If that still doesn't work, try starting a new game on the second save slot.
So the system was displaying a "red line of death", they opened the case and the system resumed normal operation after a few seconds...
Does that mean that it ended up displaying the "blue line of resurrection"?
@ nukeitall
Bioshock and Mass Effect were once exclusive to Xbox/Windows as well. Just saying...
Besides, EA has a hard time competing with Activision just because of Call of Duty. And now they have Bungie's Destiny to worry about on top of that. You have to admit the most probable scenario with Titanfall is timed exclusivity.
#1 - An FPS is also a shooter, so your words are redundant.
#2 - The correct way to write it is "in order to sell in the EU".
#3 - You're not European, are you? Unless FIFA and Gran Turismo include a hidden rocket launcher mode that I don't know about. Wait a minute, Sim City... with rocket launchers! I may be on to something here.
@ kneon
People buy the games that better suit their preferences, same as you. It's not right to deny them choice just because they don't share your perspective on quality. That's the equivalent of saying "voters are stupid, so lets choose the government for them".
Developers and publishers are the ones making a big mistake if they think suppressing the used games market will make that money fly straight into their pockets.
There's a tremendous improvement! The games looks sharper, runs smoother and the controls are more responsive. The patch is a perfect example of what simple software optimization can achieve when handled by a capable developer, in this case HexaDrive. It also represents a considerable humiliation for the original developer, High Voltage Software.
Indeed! Might as well throw the Neo Geo and the Dreamcast in there, if we're going by the author's standards.
God of War Ascension should be on that list.
Now that Microsoft has abandoned their DRM plans, Mr. Cliffy is mad because it will be harder for him to extort large amounts of money from gamers while outputting sub-par games.
He's a real class act, this guy...
PROTIP: People love change when it benefits them.
Doesn't change the fact that you won't really own the games that you pay good money for, and you can be stripped away from the right of playing them because some sore loser 12-year-old COD player filled a complaint against you on XBL.
Are you seriously comparing a hardware malfunction to the way the Xbox One is supposed to function when it's working correctly?!!!!
Wow!... Just wow! Do you even think before you write?
@ mandf:
I don't think people realize you're being sarcastic about Microsoft's claims a couple weeks ago ( http://n4g.com/news/1268183... ).
The Microsoft community on this website has been begging Microsoft to take away their money, along with their rights, and you think Playstation fans are bad?
If Sony or Nintendo showed us a console with the same restrictions as the Xbox One, they would be crucified by the media. But Microsoft?... They get half the media to do the damage control for them. And some of the spins I've seen would make a trained astronaut dizzy.
If we go by numbers alone, then PC gaming should have obliterated consoles long ago simply because there are far more PCs out there.
Also, although tablets may eventually surpass PS4/XBO in performance, the vast majority of users will own older and/or less powerful models. You don't have the advantage of a fixed architecture like what happens on consoles. And if you're going to design a game specifically for that high-end tablet that just released, chances are you wou...
